Ada, is a culinary studio and grab & go, named after chef/owner Adam Loo’s two-year-old daughter. The team at Ada is dedicated to pushing their limits of creativity with food and is establishing a vibrant space for collaboration in Canada’s culinary scene.
Hood+Searle worked closely with Adam to establish a comprehensive visual identity that extends across all brand touchpoints, from signage, sandwich wraps and merch to social media, digital menus and website. The logo itself is from Adam’s grandmother’s handwriting. She was a huge inspiration for Adam starting his culinary career and we wanted to pay homage to this incredible matriarch.
The visual identity is thoughtfully comprised of typefaces selected from vintage cookbooks, bespoke playful illustrations, and elegant sensibility to composition.
